Organically grown products in the Netherlands receive certification from SKAL. Products must adhere to strict regulations that are determined by SKAL. SKAL periodically checks compliance with these rules, and products that comply with the regulations are entitled to display the EKO hallmark. Each product is assigned a SKAL number which is shown on the product, making it possible to trace the supplier from which the product originates. Products supplied by Green Organics can be traced by the number SKAL 16210.

Since 1 July 2010 it has been mandatory for organically certified products in the EU to display the European logo for organic farming on packaging, etc.; a familiar organic logo for all consumers in EU countries

GlobalGAP is an abbreviation for Global Good Agricultural Practice. These are the international conditions to which farmers and market gardeners must comply with regard to food safety, sustainability and quality.
