New website for Green Organics
Green Organics is launching its new website on Monday 11 March. This will happen in the presence of about a hundred growers during the annual Green Organics growers day.
After locations like Thialf, the PEC Zwolle stadium and Artis, this year, the authentic city farm Boerkok in Lelystad is the setting for the annual growers day. Boerkok is a local face with the Flevoland identity. Meals are made with local (organic) ingredients from ‘neighbor farmers’, i.e. raw materials that have been grown by fellow farmers in the area with attention and care. Therefore, it is not surprising that a part of the growers will see their own vegetables served at the dinner buffet during the meeting. That means double enjoyment.
Presentations
Ruud Veltenaar, philosopher, TED speaker, SDG ambassador and special professor will give a presentation that lasts an hour and a half. Other speakers include:Eva Flantua about the culinary heritage of Flevoland, Perry Leemans about product and market developments within the Industry department, Robbert Blok about the product and market developments in the Fresh produce department, Bianca Boons-Hagenvoort and Pieter de Wit about Quality and Wilco Remijn about crop registration.
Of course, Jan Groen also has a few words for the growers. He will reveal his new website during the presentation.

The website has been renewed with a sleek design and a fresh appearance. Moreover, the site meets all contemporary requirements, such as perfect display on all devices, including mobile phones, tablets and desktops.
